Kayla Watford, MS
Kayla is a Community Engagement Coordinator for Lane County’s Coordinated Care Organizations (CCO). She provides staff support to Lane County’s CCO Community Advisory Council and committees. She is also an active partner in planning, marketing, and implementing Lane County’s shared Community Health Assessment and Community Health Improvement Plan.
Kayla earned her Master’s in Prevention Science and an undergraduate degree in Family and Human Services and Psychology at the University of Oregon. She has lived in Lane County for 11 years, serving as a Health Program Coordinator for United Way of Lane County and as a Training Coordinator for the 90by30 Initiative, working to prevent child abuse and neglect locally. Kayla has built collaborative relationships in all regions of Lane County with a passion for addressing the unique barriers experienced by rural and other under-served communities.
Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending time with family, her pug, and adventuring across Oregon.
