Adria Godon-Bynum, MPH
Adria Godon-Bynum serves as the Rural Youth Suicide Prevention Specialist on the Suicide Prevention Team. This team focuses on upstream prevention and capacity building to create safer and more resilient communities.
Adria earned her Masters of Public Health in Health Promotion from Oregon State University. Before joining Lane County she worked for many years in College and University health Promotion and within the Lane CCO structure. As the Manager of Health Promotion at the UO she developed, implemented and ran a robust student driven wellness center. She worked on addressing sexual health, healthy eating and food security, mental wellbeing and suicide prevention, substance misuse and more. She is passionate about community capacity building and developing culturally responsive and equitable systems change that start with the community.
Outside of work she enjoys adventures in the forest with her kiddo, gardening and spending as much time in Oregon’s lakes, rivers and streams as possible.
