Nena Hayes, MPH

Nena is a Community Health Analyst for Lane County Public Health and will be supporting all of the programs in prevention. Nena is a recent graduate of Oregon State University’s Master of Public Health program. She received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology and Spanish from California State University, Chico. After working for several years in healthcare clinics, Nena found that she thought she could better serve the community by pursuing a career in Public Health. Nena is passionate about health equity and ensuring that the community will live in lends itself to build a healthy community.

Outside of work, Nena enjoys hikes with her dog, traveling, and exploring all that Oregon has to offer.
